- Welcome to my South American travel blog! I am happy to share my thoughts, experiences, and ups/downs/breakdowns with you all. This trip is a lot more than a "vacation" or "reality avoidance" for me - I feel the need for more perspective and understanding of people and places outside my Western BUBBLE before I attempt my contribution to the world - through my career, as a friend, as a family member, etc. And as financially unequipped as I am - post grad school and devoid of gainful employment - I think this will be a very rewarding three months of my life.
